Marvel Rivals Season 3 Battle Pass and Event Costumes

The July Marvel Rivals Developer Vision shared that the following skins will be available in the Season 3 battle pass:

  • Emma Frost – Phoenix Force Emma
  • Rocket Raccoon – Symbiote Rocket
  • Squirrel Girl – Symbiote Squirrel Girl
  • Storm – Symbiote Storm

Subsequently, leakers allege that Moon Knight will receive similar Symbiote costumes during the Season 3 event, which would align with the overarching theme, while a Symbiote Storm skin was confirmed in the Dev Vision video in a quick snippet of the improved Event menu tab UI. The Captain America Klyntar costume was also one of the costumes mentioned in these leaked files, supposedly part of a ‘Klyntar Warriors’ theme, though it debuts on July 4 instead of in Season 3.

Swimsuit skins for some characters are also expected to arrive in the near future, with rumors pointing to a launch sometime in July. Swimsuit skins possibly arriving in Marvel Rivals have been public information since April. The Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes, Rivals #1 comic arrives on July 9, and previews show the following heroes clad in swimwear attire:

  • Iron Fist
  • Magik
  • Mr. Fantastic
  • Spider-Man
  • The Thing

There may be other swimsuit costumes planned for characters beyond those mentioned, and the ones listed are not guaranteed a skin simply because they appear in the comic book special.

Leaked Costumes For Marvel Rivals Season 3

Dataminers suggest that the characters listed above are set to get skins throughout Season 3. The Rocket Raccoon skin appears to be the aforementioned Symbiote Rocket costume in the battle pass, whereas the skin for Hela is likely the one featured in the trailer. Information on the heroes in this list should be taken with a grain of salt.

Chroma Color Variants

Fresh chroma color variants will arrive in Marvel Rivals Season 3, a feature that initially debuted in Season 2. Chroma color variants allow players to personalize base skins they already own. The ones shown in the Dev Vision include:

  • Invisible Woman – Malice
  • Jeff the Land Shark – Sunshine Land Shark
  • Rocket Raccoon – Sunshine Raccoon
  • Scarlet Witch – Immortal Sovereign

There will also be a new customization option called Ultimate VFX, which, according to creative director Guangguang, features unique visual effects that are only visible to the player. For clarity, others on the battlefield will see the default VFX.
