Where to Find Black Market Trader in Dune Awakening (Black Market Tech)

Dune: Awakening features a storyline aside from its MMO survival mechanics that lets players experience an alternative non-canonical timeline. After finishing up the Find the Fremen quests, players will now embark on a new act called “The Assassin’s Handbook,” which kicks off with the mission Black Market Tech. The objective is to help Ari find an Ixian decryption device from a black market trader in Harko Village. Here’s how to complete this quest.

Pentashields are the best tools to make entryways for your large vehicles like the Buggy or the Ornithopter, here’s how to craft and install them.

How to Reach Harko Village in Dune Awakening

The first part of the Black Market Tech quest is to reach Harko Village, a Harkonnen sanctuary in Dune Awakening. Players can fast travel there either by paying 2500 Solaris to the Ornithopter Pilot in any of the major tradeposts, or ride their Ornithopter to any edge of the Hagga Basin map and access the World Map.

If you’re riding to Harko Village in your Ornithopter, you’ll need to head straight south (down) on the World Map from Hagga Basin. Make sure to pick up deposits along the way if you’re low on fuel or water.

Once you arrive at the Harko Village landmark on the World Map, simply choose to enter, and you’ll arrive at the location after a brief cutscene.

Black Market Trader Location in Harko Village

After you enter the Harko Village, make your way straight forward through the scanners and the main marketplace. After going a bit further, you’ll arrive at the center of the Harko Village with a big red hologram. After arriving at this location, a cutscene will play that holds narrative importance.

Once the cutscene is over, the player’s character will be visited by Zantara. He’ll ask about the interrogation, so players can comfortably choose to either share the details with him or hide them. It won’t impact the story in any way.

After Zantara leaves, you’ll need to meet up with Fenring’s contact, Elara Tuek. After talking to her a bit, she’ll ask you to choose between two assassin contracts: The Gutton or The Paranoid. Players can choose whoever they want here, as they’ll end up completing both contracts later on. Once you’ve accepted an assassin contract, the first quest for The Assassin’s Handbook will start in Dune: Awakening.
