Ark Ascended Gets New Update for June 2025

Another Ark: Survival Ascended update is now available to download on PC and consoles, debuting in the final days of June 2025. Identified by version number 67.49, this release is almost entirely focused on bug fixes, though it also tackles one Ark: Survival Ascended exploit.

October 26 will mark the second anniversary of Ark: Survival Ascended launching in early access on PC before its preview version expanded to the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 the following month. Ever since then, the Ark: Survival Evolved remaster has been receiving regular updates, ranging from minor hotfixes to wide-ranging content drops. This newest release from Studio Wildcard belongs to the former group.

ARK: Survival Ascended Roadmap Reveals 2 Years of Plans

Studio Wildcard shares its latest content roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended, which includes two years’ worth of updates planned until late 2026.

The latest Ark: Survival Ascended patch rolled out on Friday, June 27, bumping the game’s version number up to 67.49 and delivering a slate of bug fixes. The update tackles issues focused on milestone progression, visual glitches, and creature behavior, among other aspects of the popular MMO survival crafting game.

Among the bugs tackled by the update are several issues affecting in-game progression, including milestones related to Ark: Survival Ascended boss fights, gunpowder crafting, and silica pearls. Some of these newly patched problems were introduced in the massive 67.00 update, which introduced a new version of the Ragnarok map to the early access remaster on June 19. For instance, large beaver dams will now properly count toward looting milestones on the Ragnarok map. On a similar note, Astraeos’ Astral variants will now count toward Alpha creature Milestone progression, as they were intended to from the outset.

Other fixes arriving as part of the new Ark: Survival Ascended patch include a solution for a bug that caused shoulder pets to turn invisible, as well as revised animations for swimming creatures. Instances where newly hatched dinosaurs appear stuck or show incorrect level data have been eliminated as part of this release. Studio Wildcard also patched some selective problems with the paint preview system, as well as functionality issues related to the Dino Export feature. Moreover, some unexpected hotbar behavior concerning custom cosmetic structures has been resolved.

Next Ark: Survival Ascended Content Drop Is Scheduled for August 2025

The latest version of the game also eliminates a singular exploit, according to its official changelog, which doesn’t elaborate on the matter any further. The 67.49 patch is the tenth update that Ark: Survival Ascended has received in June 2025, arriving just five days after the 67.35 release. According to Studio Wildcard’s previously shared content roadmap, its next big content drop is scheduled for August 2025, when the game will receive the Valguero Ascended map for free, together with a community-voted creature and a Fantastic Tame. More minor patches in the vein of the 67.49 release are expected in the meantime.
