Pokemon TCG Pocket fans are discovering a secret mission connected to the mobile trading card game’s newest set, granting currency for collecting some of the set’s rarest cards. The massively popular mobile trading card game has enticed plenty of fans of the beloved monster-catching franchise to try it out, featuring stunning artwork for its cards across numerous expansions. Pokemon TCG Pocket debuted its newest exciting expansion earlier this week, with “Eevee Grove” putting the focus on the titular Pokemon and its evolutions. Now, fans are discovering a secret reward for collecting some of its most elusive cards.
Eevee Grove brought plenty of new cards to the game with stunning artwork, featuring both the Eeveelutions and other Pokemon. Each Eeveelution got its own full art variant within the set, with some also receiving full art cards for their “ex” versions like Flareon ex. Eevee ex even received the newest “immersive art” card within the expansion, featuring a scene depicting Eevee sitting in a field of flowers surrounded by its evolutions in their own elemental environments. Fans are now discovering a special mission connected to Eevee Grove.

Reddit user tumboi69 shared their discovery from the Eevee Grove expansion on the official Pokemon TCG Pocket subreddit. Players collecting each “rainbow rare” card from the Eevee Grove set will complete a special mission, requiring players to acquire Flareon ex, Sylveon ex, Dragonite ex, Snorlax ex, and Primarina ex. Completing the mission will net the player a reward of 36 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses, and 10 Shop Tickets, granting an extra 3 Wonder Picks and one extra Pack. Two-star rarity cards are typically only expected roughly once every 1,250 Packs.

Reactions to the Pokemon TCG Pocket accomplishment were largely mixed, with fans astounded at the impressive feat and lamenting the lackluster rewards.
