Earlier this week, a new Game Freak trademark was spotted online, indicating that a new Pokemon TCG expansion featuring Rayquaza is on the way, while the fresh Eevee Grove set was released for Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket on June 26. Meanwhile, the Pokemon GO Fest 2025: Global event will take place on June 28 and 29, offering plenty of rewards for all participating players. On Reddit, user Crownomancer shared his girlfriend’s Charizard-themed stained glass project, with countless users praising the creation that took the artist around six weeks to make. According to the UK-based user, the artist dabbles in many different mediums, with stained glass being a relatively new endeavor. While she hasn’t taken any in-person lessons, the creator is part of a stained glass Discord server where she finds helpful advice and guidance from other creators. This isn’t the first time that a Pokemon fan has used stained glass to immortalize their favorite creature from the series, as last year, another Reddit user shared their Zapdos art.

The release of the Switch 2 earlier this month has many longtime fans hoping that the company will finally add classic Pokemon games to the Nintendo Switch Online service. The Game Boy tier of the service already runs many games that were released during the series’ early heyday, prompting the community to wonder why Nintendo hasn’t already ported the titles to the hybrid console. Additionally, adding older Pokémon games could build even more hype for upcoming releases.
In May, it was announced that Pokemon Legends: Z-A would be released for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on October 16, with pre-orders opening earlier in June. Taking place in Lumiose City, the title is touted as a sequel to 2013’s Pokemon X and Y. More information will likely be shared during the next Pokemon Presents event, which is scheduled to take place on July 22.
