How to Romance Dolly (Dateable #21) in Date Everything

Dolly is Dateable #21 in Date Everything, and she is the personification of a dust bunny and is voiced by Erica Lindbeck. While earning the love ending with this character is not extremely difficult, players do need to take a specific approach to their interactions with Dolly. This guide is here to elaborate upon that approach, and it will help players romance Dolly in Date Everything.

The key to romancing Dolly is being complimentary but not overly flirtatious. Additionally, players should focus on showing interest in Dolly’s studies and avoid saying anything that could come across as patronizing. While this guide will detail dialogue options that are guaranteed to lead to Dolly’s love ending, Date Everything players who keep those rules of thumb in mind should be able to reach that ending fairly easily.

Romancing Volt and Eddie in Date Everything requires some very specific actions. Here’s how to get the ‘Love’ relationship with them.

Where to Find Dolly in Date Everything

The first step towards romancing Dolly in Date Everything is locating her, and she is in the living room. More specifically, players can find Dolly by removing the Dateviators and interacting with the couch near the fireplace. This action will cause a small gray bunny to appear on the ground next to the couch, and players can equip the Dateviators and use them on the bunny to start their relationship with Dolly.

How to Romance Dolly in Date Everything

Players need to interact with Dolly over the course of four days in order to reach her love ending. As previously mentioned, approaching those interactions in a manner that is complimentary but avoids focusing too heavily on the looks of this Date Everything character is the way to reach the love ending, and here are a selection of dialogue options that are guaranteed to lead to that conclusion:

Interaction #1

  • Sorry!
  • That’s cool. So you’re like a clump of dust?
  • Apologies, I’ve just never met… um… such gorgeous grime before.
  • Oh sorry!
  • I heard once that dust is made mostly of sloughed-off skin cells.
  • And that doesn’t bother you?
  • Whoa. Good point.
  • You’re really interesting, you know that?
  • Haha!
  • Oh… yeah. Sounds awesome.

Interaction #2

  • Hi Dolly! Thanks, I’ve been working on my style.
  • What have you been up to under here?
  • Wait, research? What kind of research?
  • Oh, wow, okay. Is that a hobby of yours?
  • What’s that?
  • You’re a COLLEGE PROFESSOR?!
  • Wow, that’s really impressive.
  • I’m glad to hear you are so successful!
  • You mean… you’re a model?
  • Congratulations!
  • So, you’ve conquered media AND academia. What’s next?
  • I’m looking for that too I guess.
  • Let in?
  • What are we going to do?
  • I’ll be there!

Interaction #3

  • You know it!
  • Where are we going?
  • Nice! I like to live on the edge.
  • Where the heck are we?
  • I can’t wait!
  • But you said you’ve been teaching 114 years?
  • Dustonian art, huh? That’s a new one.
  • Astounding!!
  • Dolly, this is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen!
  • Wow. Why would archeologists think that?
  • How so?
  • Tell me about it, Professor.
  • Go on.
  • You’re telling me these ancient Dustonians had a DRILL GUN!?
  • I. Am. Enraptured.
  • Hmmmm. Looks like they’re hunting.
  • Some of them are transforming?
  • Theron-what-now?!
  • No?
  • Goblets?
  • What?!?!
  • What makes you think there’s drugs in those goblets and bags?
  • I’m compelled.
  • Intense lore drop, Professor! I love it.
  • Huh? NOTE ABOUT SMARTS 20
  • You know it.
  • I had an amazing time.

Interaction #4

  • That makes me happy to hear.
  • Of course. What is it?
  • Tell me more…
  • Like a dusty CHEETAH!
  • gulp Me?!
  • I did.
  • More than anything, Dolly.
  • Can we kiss now?
  • I’ll be gentle I promise.
  • Dolly?!
  • OH MY GOD. I’VE KILLED HER!!
  • What now?
  • I can fix this… I think…
  • In all your glory!
  • Did I do okay?
  • The feeling is mutual… figuratively speaking, I mean.

How to Get Friendship and Hate Endings with Dolly in Date Everything

date everything dolly romance guide

Friendship

If a player prefers to reach the friendship ending, they should work through the dialogue options that have just been presented until they reach the point during the fourth interaction where Dolly asks “Do you wanna be my beau?” Here, players who are going for friendship should select “Dolly. I think the world of you, but I don’t feel the same way about you. Let’s just stay friends.”

Hate

Players have many opportunities to travel down the path leading to the hate ending, as there are plenty of chances to express disgust with Dolly or overly-fixate on her looks. In fact, it is even possible to veer toward hate when Dolly asks “Do you wanna be my beau?” during the fourth interaction. Specifically, players can pick “What?! Ew. No, you’re sentient dirt. Gross.”
