What Do Persona Seals Do in Persona 5 X?

Persona5: The Phantom X does have a protagonist who can use multiple Personas, and Personas are a major pull in the game’s Gacha mechanic. Personas that are pulled can be equipped and used by Wonder, though getting a Persona can also give the player Persona Seals. Persona Seals don’t act as actual Personas, and because of this, you won’t lose any of your Personas whenever you fuse new ones.

Persona Seals have many uses even beyond fusion, and can be used in a few different ways to make Wonder a stronger option for your party. Here are all the ways to get Persona Seals and what they can be used for.

What are Persona Seals in Persona 5 X?

Persona Seals act as stand-ins for Personas, and aren’t the actual Persona that Wonder equips. Whenever Wonder gets a Persona, it will be logged in the compendium, and subsequent Persona Seals act as duplicates for that Persona to be used in the Persona’s place. You can stack as many Personas as you’d like, and a lot of uses for Persona Seals will require you to have more than just one. Persona Seals act as any other material you get in the game, with their only real connection to that Persona being the name. You can get Persona Seals by:

Pulling them through banners.
Defeating shadows in the Metaverse.
Challenge Reward exchange.
Metaverse Challenge Battles.

What are Persona Seals Used for in Persona 5 X

Persona Seals have four main uses:

Use Name	Explanation
Persona Fusion	Persona Fusion in the Velvet Room has a few different recipes depending on the Persona, all requiring various Persona Seals and differing amounts.
Teaching Skills	In the Velvet Room, use a Persona Seal to pass along skills from that Persona onto a different Persona.
Overclocking Personas	Persona Seals of that same Persona can be used to Overclock the Persona in the Velvet Room to boost its base stats.
Leveling Up Personas	Any Seal can be used to give XP to another Persona and help it level up.

How Should You Use Persona Seals?

It’s highly recommended you never use Persona Seals to give XP to another Persona, as the amount of XP earned is not a lot, and Cubes offer a lot more XP. Persona Fusion should be your next top priority, just to fill out the Compendium and have every option. After that, you’ll want to Overclock your better Personas, then teach skills here and there to round out your build for Wonder.
