The Sims 4 Player Builds a Hobbit Hole in the Game

A dedicated The Sims 4 player has shared their incredible Hobbit Hole build with the life sim community, and The Lord of the Rings fans can’t draw their eyes away either. The Sims 4 was released over 10 years ago in 2014 for Windows by Maxis and EA, and the game later adopted a free-to-play model supported by DLC content. The fourth entry has released a catalog of expansion packs and game packs over the years, including the latest Businesses & Hobbies pack.

The Sims 4’s latest major update for July 2025 has added new features, abilities, and thwarted several bugs in preparation for the new Enchanted by Nature expansion launching on July 10. The recent patch offers players new inventory methods to sort through items and spoiled food, a fresh interface for household collections, and a new layout for the Notebook. Additionally, Sims fans can now build glass walls, and roofs can be decorated with plants, which explains why some got the notion to start their Hobbit Holes immediately.

The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature will expand several features from the base game, but a lack of fixes for one system could lead to trouble.

Posted on Reddit by Aurorafaery, a series of screenshots was shared on the Sims 4 subreddit, flaunting a beautifully designed Hobbit Hole with detailed gardens and interiors, similar to another gamer who built an impressive Hobbit Hole in the survival sandbox Valheim. The player shared their desire to build a “nature-lover’s Hobbit Hole” and noted they were eagerly anticipating The Sims 4’s new pack. The Enchanted by Nature expansion introduces the new Innisgreen area, houseplants, apothecary table, and the chance for Sims to transform into Fairies.

The Sims 4 Player Creates Stunning In-Game Hobbit Hole

For fans wanting nothing but Hobbit Holes and general Hobbit life during gameplay, a new wholesome The Lord of the Rings game is due to arrive soon. Scheduled to launch on July 29, Tale of the Shire boasts promising Hobbit Hole customization, and eager interior designers are keeping their fingers crossed that the interactivity is top-notch.

Tales of the Shire will be competing for July 2025’s coziest game of the month, joining Fields of Mistria’s major update and The Sims 4’s nature expansion. Fantasy fans thought the Hobbit Hole OP built a fantastic home even without Enchanted by Nature, noting that the images looked very realistic and exactly like Bag End, Frodo and Bilbo Baggins’ home in The Lord of the Rings. Several Redditors asked for the user’s gallery name, so The Sims 4 player base should expect several Hobbit Holes to pop up in due course.
