How to Connect Steam and Mobile Accounts in Umamusume: Pretty Derby

To link your Umamusume account and enable cross-progression, just follow these steps:

Open Umamusume on your original device.
Tap the menu button on the home screen.
Tap Data Link.
Choose to create a password.
Make note of your Trainer ID and password.
Open Umamusume on your second device.
Tap the menu button and choose Data Link once again.
Input your Trainer ID and password.

With that, you’ll be able to link your Umamusume: Pretty Derby accounts and keep playing across multiple devices. If you’ve already started playing on two devices, however, you can only keep one of your profiles. When you input your Trainer ID and password, it’ll overwrite any existing data.

All of your stuff carries over in Umamusume, except for Paid Carats obtained with real money. You can only use Paid Carats on the device where they were originally purchased, so make sure to do all of your spending on either PC or mobile, not a combination of both. Anything you pull with Carats will transfer, though, so your SSR characters are thankfully safe.

Once you perform the initial link, you won’t need to change anything on either device. Your Umamusume: Pretty Derby progress will automatically sync across platforms. If you want to add another device into the mix, just repeat the process from the beginning. Other than the Carat restrictions, there’s nothing else you need to worry about. Just focus on raising your Trainees’ stats and getting as far as you can in Career mode.
