Chasing Prestige ranks is a long-running series tradition, and Call of Duty: WWII features the usual Prestige system plus some other unique mechanics that set the game apart from the other entries in the franchise. There are a lot of rewards to grind for in COD: WWII, and with XP bonuses constantly applied now that the game has gotten pretty old, it’s super easy to climb the ranks.
In addition to the classic Prestige system, Call of Duty: WWII also includes weapon Prestige and Division Prestige ranks. With these new systems, you can customize your weapons and soldiers with new cosmetics to show off your prowess to other players in multiplayer matches or at the Headquarters. The Prestige systems are all handled through the HQ in COD: WW2, though, so new players may not know where to look at first.

Simply put, it wouldn’t be a Call of Duty game without these familiar mechanics, maps, and modes. Here are the core features of the series.
All COD: WWII Prestige Rewards
Once you reach the maximum level of 55 in Call of Duty: WWII, you can visit Prestige Overlook at the Headquarters to reset your level and Prestige. This will reset you back to level one, but you’ll get a special calling card and a new helmet depending on your Prestige level. You’ll also get a permanent unlock token that lets you pick any weapon from the game’s arsenal to keep, even though your level gets reset.
There are 10 Prestige ranks to progress through in COD: WWII, and each one has a unique calling card and helmet so that other players can tell just how much time you’ve put into the game. Even though Prestige resets your level, you still keep any unlocked weapon attachments and retain your challenge progression. You’ll also get a new custom class slot for every Prestige, letting you try out more Divisions and weapons.
Division and Weapon Prestige Rewards
Call of Duty: WWII also lets you Prestige your Divisions and individual weapons, and those give even more rewards. When you max out a Division and Prestige it for the first time, you’ll unlock these weapons and Basic Trainings.
- Infantry: SVT-40/Scoped
- Airborne: MP40/Energetic
- Armored: MG42/Hunker
- Mountain: Kar98k/Inconspicuous
- Expeditionary: Sawed-Off Shotgun/Concussed
- Resistance: 9mm SAP/Shifty
- Cavalry: ZK-383/Specialist
- Commando: AS-44/Remedy
You’ll also earn weapon XP for your favorite weapons during the grinding process, and taking a maxed-out weapon to the Gunsmith at the Headquarters will allow you to Prestige it and claim new cosmetic items. There are only two levels of weapon Prestige in COD: WWII. The first weapon Prestige rank unlocks the ability to engrave your clan tag onto your weapon, and the second weapon Prestige rank unlocks a kill counter for that gun.
