Genshin Impact has revealed the second half banners for Version 5.7, with Mavuika and Emilie joined by Xiangling, Yao Yao, and Iansan. With the Natlan era coming to a close, Genshin Impact has some important reruns to introduce before the Traveler and Paimon set foot on the shores of Nod-Krai. While Mualani, Citlali, and Chasca are all slated to feature on the Event Banners in Version 5.8, players will be able to wish for the Pyro Archon a patch earlier.
The first half of Version 5.7 was marked by Shenhe’s unexpected rerun and Skirk’s long-expected debut. While Skirk in Genshin Impact had an extremely popular banner, some players critiqued her ability kit as being too dependent on Escoffier. For players who may want a more flexible hypercarry, Mavuika should suit their needs, as she is capable of excelling in Melt, Vaporize, Overload, and Burning. However, in order to build a premium Mavuika team in Genshin Impact, players should try to surround her with Natlan characters.

Genshin Impact Tier List
Here’s a Genshin Impact tier list to help players see who’s in the meta and who isn’t.
The second half banners for Version 5.7 will run from July 8, 2025, to July 30, 2025. Mavuika and Emilie will be the featured 5-Stars, while the pair will be accompanied by Iansan, Xiangling, and Yao Yao. While Emilie is an underrated Support capable of pushing Burning teams to the next level, the real value of this Event Banner lies in its 4-Star characters. Iansan is one of the best Support characters in Genshin Impact, and her Constellations have plenty of value. On the other hand, Yao Yao is useful as a Dendro healer, while Xiangling has been a staple of the game since launch.
Genshin Impact: Version 5.8 Second Half Banners
- Mavuika – 5-Star Pyro Claymore
- Emilie – 5-Star Dendro Polearm
- Iansan – 4-Star Electro Polearm
- Xiangling – 4-Star Pyro Polearm
- Yao Yao – 4-Star Dendro Polearm
Where the second half falters is in its Weapon Banner. While Lumidouce Elegy and A Thousand Blazing Suns are valuable Signature Weapons in Genshin Impact, they are paired with a rather undesirable collection of 4-Stars such as Rust and Rainslasher. Unless Genshin Impact players have a strong desire to obtain Mavuika’s or Emilie’s Signature Weapon, it may be best to dodge the Weapon Banner in this specific rerun.
While Version 5.8 will be packed with Primogems in Genshin Impact, players have had to deal with two dry patches in a row. Players who saved up their currency for Emilie or Mavuika will benefit greatly from their current banner, but those who invested in Escoffier and Skirk may need to make some difficult choices. With Ineffa and the cast of Nod-Krai on the way, it may be wiser to hold onto their Primogems and see what the new region will bring to the meta.
