In the report shared by Alinea Analytics, it’s revealed that the game sold over 117,200 units in its first week on the PS5, while the Steam version only sold 91,200 copies in the same timeframe. Alinea market analysis head Rhys Elliott also highlighted that while under 5 million gamers played Indiana Jones on Xbox, the vast majority of these users came from the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, not sales on Microsoft’s console, which indicates that “subscription cannibalization is real.”

Other interesting insights include the game selling more copies during early access on Steam than on PS5, which makes sense, considering that fear of missing out (FOMO) was much bigger in the original launch. Also, the game is expected to have a long tail of sales, as over 1.5 million people have wishlisted Indiana Jones on Steam, for example.
