When combined with Jeff the Land Shark, who has perhaps Marvel Rivals‘ most controversial ultimate, the full potential of this exploit is revealed, allowing full teams to be wiped from the playable bounds of the map quite literally.

There are already a number of strategies players can use regarding Doctor Strange’s portals in Marvel Rivals, though this is likely not a developer-approved one. Players affected by this exploit are basically thrown in jail, doomed to sit as the rest of their team continues the battle. What truly makes this such a diabolical strategy is that, after the enemy team is thrown into this “jail,” the player using Doctor Strange switches characters, deleting the portals from the map and leaving enemies trapped.

Given how unfair this exploit is, it’s likely NetEase will take swift action in a future update.
