Marvel Rivals Players Want a Major Change Made to Reloading
Marvel Rivals fans express their dissatisfaction with the way some characters are forced to reload abilities in NetEase Games’ popular hero shooter.
In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players a first look at two new skins for the Vanguards Peni Parker and Doctor Strange, arriving on April 17 at 7 PM PDT. The fresh costume for Marvel Rivals‘ Peni Parker was teased before the popular hero shooter ever released, as it is part of a collaboration with the artist Peach Momoko. The skin for Peni is called Yatsukahagi, and some fans believe the front of the mech is modeled after an Oni mask from Japanese folklore.
Marvel Rivals Reveals Fresh Shop Bundles for Doctor Strange and Peni Parker
Meanwhile, the new costume for Doctor Strange in Marvel Rivals is based on his appearance in the MCU movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This skin doesn’t just copy his outfit, however, it gives the entire character a zombie makeover. This will be the second cosmetic added to the game from the popular MCU film, as Scarlet Witch also has a costume based on her appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. There’s currently no official word on how much the two outfits might cost.
Gamers looking for more cosmetics may want to consider participating in the Cerebro Database event, which will reward players with a free costume for the Strategist Mantis in Marvel Rivals. While people can begin working on the challenges associated with this event now, they won’t be able to claim the skin until all four sections of the event are officially revealed over time. With so much content to enjoy and even more updates just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
