Delta Force Reveals New Content Coming To Season 4

Summary

  • Season 4 of Delta Force introduces new operator Nox, two difficulty modes, and new gear.
  • The upcoming content drop is scheduled for April 21.

Delta Force shared the first look at Season 4, which will introduce a new operator, additional difficulty modes, and some fresh gear, among other novelties. The upcoming season will conclude the first stage of Delta Force‘s ambitious post-launch roadmap.

Developed by Tencent subsidiary TiMi Studio Group, Delta Force is a free-to-play tactical FPS that was released on PC in late January 2025. The game peaked at over 131,000 concurrent Steam players shortly afterward and is still pulling in over 100,000 people during peak hours as of mid-April, according to SteamDB data. Delta Force has hence already established itself as one of the biggest new PC shooters of 2025.

Game Rant sits down with Delta Force game design director Ricky Liao to discuss the game’s place in the franchise, game balance, and what’s next.

The fact that the game managed to maintain its impressive momentum over the following three months can at least partially be attributed to its consistent influx of new content. Continuing this trend, TiMi Studio shared the official trailer for the fourth season of Delta Force just two and a half months following the game’s release. The highlight of the upcoming content drop is a new Delta Force operator called Nox.

Delta Force Season 4 Introducing Two New Difficulty Modes

Nox is an Assault Operator who specializes in assassinations and infiltration. This makes him a natural fit for the two new Zero Dam difficulty modes—Normal and Hard—that Season 4 is set to introduce. He comes equipped with a drone that can track enemies and even blow them up. His Ultimate ability disrupts nearby enemies’ movement detection, making it easier to approach for the kill. Any operator wounded by Nox suffers a penalty to their healing item cooldown. Reviving an ally whom Nox has taken down takes longer as well, also due to his unique passive ability. While his hit-and-run toolkit doesn’t seem like the best choice for Delta Force newcomers, it also suggests that Nox will have a fairly high skill ceiling.

Delta Force Season 4 will also debut some new gear, which TiMi confirmed in a recent statement to PCGamesN. The upcoming additions include a tactical flashbang and the so-called Whirlwind Disc that inhibits enemies’ movement, making them easier to hit—especially if someone happens to blind them at the same time.

The upcoming season was initially also meant to include a new Delta Force Warfare Mode called Victory Unite, but this addition was recently pushed back to May 30. As for Season 4, the bulk of its content is slated to arrive on April 21. Its arrival will conclude the four-season roadmap that TiMi Studio outlined following the game’s January 2025 release. The developer is likely to share a new content plan in the coming weeks.
