InZOI Player Recreates Cynthia Erivo and Elphaba from Wicked

A talented InZOI player has recreated actress Cynthia Erivo and her Wicked character, Elphaba, in the game. This InZOI creation is an incredible depiction of the Emmy, Grammy, and Tony-winning actress who recently starred alongside Ariana Grande in Wicked.

The launch of InZOI was wildly successful, with Krafton’s newest title already surpassing one million sales. There was some debate over whether InZOI could truly compete with The Sims in the life simulator genre going forward, and the early signs are positive, despite the game still being in Early Access. While some of the gameplay faced criticism for lacking depth at this stage, InZOI‘s powerful character creator was one area that few could find fault with.

Redditor sebastiene_art shared their incredible InZOI creation, after creating Zois for both actress Cynthia Erivo and her Wicked character, Elphaba. The likeness of both is absolutely striking, with multiple users in the thread even claiming that they thought it was a picture upon stumbling upon the post. There has been no shortage of InZOI celebrity recreations since the game was released, but sebastiene_art’s effort might just be one of the best so far.

In fact, interesting character creations have been one of the most unique things about InZOI‘s online presence so far. Krafton has knocked it out of the park with its character creator, allowing players to create photorealistic versions of people, both real and fictional, in staggering detail. While some prefer to create real people, others choose to recreate other video game characters in the game. One InZOI player even created Red Dead Redemption 2‘s Arthur Morgan.

Although InZOI has already made an impressive splash, it’s by no means a sure thing to stick around in the genre in the future. InZOI‘s player count is already way down, although it’s fair to suggest that this is because of the game’s Early Access status. The game’s long-term success will be defined by how its future updates expand on the gameplay, and whether it’s enough to recapture the community’s interest.
