On April 11, Final Fantasy 14 started another run of its periodic Callback Campaign, which allows current players to invite friends back to the game who have been inactive for some time. The Final Fantasy 14 Callback Campaign will reward both recruiters and returning players with the chance to obtain rare mounts and other cosmetic items.
The Callback Campaign returns at a busy time for the critically-acclaimed MMORPG. On March 25, Final Fantasy 14 launched Patch 7.2, Seekers of Eternity, offering a wealth of content spread over several weeks. Patch 7.2 started with various Job balance updates, a new main story chapter, and the Arcadion’s Cruiserweight raid tier. Starting on April 22, Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.21 will be highlighted by the long-awaited arrival of the Cosmic Exploration feature. Set on the Moon, Cosmic Exploration will give Crafters and Gatherers a way to level up their professions and establish a base that will be used to launch future forays.

A popular Final Fantasy 14 treat that hasn’t been seen in years is finally making a comeback at retailers, and fans can pre-order it now.
With the annual Hatching-Tide event also underway, Final Fantasy 14 players have another limited-time event to participate in. According to Square Enix, the Final Fantasy 14 Callback Campaign started on Friday, April 11, and will conclude on Friday, May 9, at approximately 4:00 AM Eastern. While the event is active, players may select an offline friend or free company member and click on the option to invite them to return to Final Fantasy 14, which is marked by a distinct icon.
Final Fantasy 14 Launches The Callback Campaign

Up to five invitations can be sent, with the limit resetting after 30 days. Eligible players who have been inactive for at least 90 days will receive an email with their invitation. Upon accepting the invitation, an inactive Final Fantasy 14 player will be granted seven free days of game time, 99 Aetheryte Tickets, and 10 Silver Chocobo Feathers, the latter of which can be used to purchase catch-up weapons and armor.
Should returning Final Fantasy 14 players subscribe for at least 90 days, their recruiter will be rewarded with five Gold Chocobo Feathers per returning player. These feathers can subsequently be redeemed for some of the rarest mounts in Final Fantasy 14, including the Twintania, Amber Draught Chocobo, and Managarm mounts.
Gold Chocobo Feathers will remain in the inventory after the Callback Campaign ends, so players will have sufficient time to save up and claim any rewards they want later. The Callback Campaign will run through the launch of Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.21, which will give fans of older Final Fantasy titles something to look forward to.
