WWE 2K25 has just released a new update for April 2025, adding new championship belts and making plenty of quality-of-life adjustments to key game modes. The latest WWE 2K video game has been out for almost a month now, winning fans of the squared circle over with a massive roster of playable characters and returning features like chain wrestling and inter-gender matches. WWE 2K25 also adds an online multiplayer mode called the Island and takes gamers on a tour through wrestling history with its Bloodline-centric Showcase mode.
Just like how any good professional wrestler is always training and improving their move set for their next big match, the developers at Visual Concepts have been fine-tuning WWE 2K25 through online updates ever since its initial launch last month. These updates have mainly addressed technical issues in modes like MyRise and Universe, as well as certain match types like WWE 2K25’s four-on-four War Games match. Fans are always reporting glitches in WWE 2K25, so there is always room for improvement for the latest WWE video game.

WWE 2K25’s Update 1.07 Patch has just gone live, and it features a wealth of bug fixes and gameplay tweaks across the board. The new NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship title belts have been added for use in standard WWE 2K25 exhibition matches, along with the Saturday Night’s Main Event arena. MyGM players can now have their female superstars compete for the Women’s midcard championships on Raw, Smackdown, and NXT.

The new WWE 2K25 update also implements stability and performance fixes all around, with much of the alternations being centered around the game’s camera functions, the character and arena creation suites, and gameplay modes like MyGM and Universe. Multiple WWE 2K25 superstars have had their entrance videos updated to reflect their appearances on WWE programming, and players can now track the win/loss records of wrestlers in Universe mode.
WWE 2K25 will certainly get more updates in the future, especially with its first DLC content pack set to be released on May 14. This first round of new playable characters will be centered around up-and-coming superstars, along with a special celebrity guest that rumors claim will be Travis Scott. More DLC characters and updates will follow in future months, but for now WWE fans are taking advantage of the new WWE 2K25 update as they wait anxiously for next weekend’s WrestleMania event.
