As reported by VG247, a leaked video that was later deleted from YouTube showed an old presentation at ZA/UM discussing a spin-off RPG, Project X7, starring Cuno and Cunoesse. The game was planned to feature dual-protagonist gameplay, allowing players to switch between the two teenagers to utilize their unique skills and perspectives. A box of locusts was also intended to play a significant symbolic role in the story, though its exact meaning remains undisclosed. Based on the leaked information, the game was expected to have five acts, with the inciting incident being the murder of Cuno’s father. Project X7 was also set to feature multiple endings, similar to Disco Elysium’s alternative plots.
