To align with the Season 3 update, Activision temporarily took down Call of Duty: Warzone‘s servers to prepare for the highly anticipated return of Verdansk, the game’s first battle royale map, which is making a comeback after nearly four years. As a result, the game will remain unavailable from April 2 until April 3, 2025, at 9 AM PT. Much like Warzone’s original launch in March 2020, this update featured a global countdown, building excitement for its release. This time, players will see a countdown in the COD HQ menu, with players being unable to access the game until it ends. However, the wait will be well worth it, now that the return of Verdansk is finally approaching.

Alongside the Kilo 141, Warzone‘s Season 3 introduces even more nostalgic content, aiming to recreate the classic battle royale experience.
