Unfortunately, the launch hasn’t been flawless as Monster Hunter Wilds has seen plenty of issues arise, especially with performance problems on the PC platform. Mixed with microtransaction controveries, and discontent over a lack of difficulty through the base campaign, some fans have more than a few gripes towards the game. However, Capcom continues to work on fixing what it can, with a new update on the horizon.

Essentially, a critical NPC does not appear as expected, essentially preventing story progression. Thankfully, Capcom has not only identified the issue, but is ready to apply a fix. Alongside the game-breaking bug fix, the upcoming hotfix will also address issues with the Ingredient Center and Grill a Meal.

Monster Hunter Wilds Reveals Hot Fix Release Date

Players won’t have to wait long for the latest Monster Hunter Wilds update, as Capcom confirmed a March 4 release at 12am PST. It’s worth noting that once the update arrives, all online sessions are going to be disconnected and players will need to download the hotfix before they’ll be allowed back online to play Monster Hunter Wilds with friends.

While the news should please many players, especially those impacted by the bug, others are disappointed that Capcom isn’t concentrating on fixing the various performance issues with Monster Hunter Wilds. In the meantime, Capcom has offered a few tips to improve performance on the PC. In the meantime, some outspoken players felt as though the response wasn’t good enough, hoping for a dedicated update to resolve the current issues.
